Abner Gonzalez

Abner Gonzalez joined BVI full-time in August 2025. He and his wife, Flora, have owned and operated Flora’s restaurant in Lancaster city since 2015. Abner brings to the table a background in printing and over 20 years of experience as an artist, both in graphics and the more traditional mediums. Currently, he serves as a deacon at Living Christ Church of East Petersburg. While he was born and raised in Lancaster, his worldview has been deeply impacted by his Puerto Rican heritage and his wife’s Jersey City swagger. Abner is also known for creating hip hop music, which he uses to proclaim the gospel with the hopes of drawing those impacted by the culture to Jesus. He and Flora are grateful and excited that they have been given the opportunity to add to the wonderful work that BVI has accomplished throughout the years.
